ASC
The ASC controller is used as an interface between the inductive generator of a wind turbine and the grid (net). This assembly limits the inrush current and mechanical shock when the turbine is connected to the grid. In marginal wind applications it allows the wind turbine to produce positive power when there is sufficient wind and shuts down when the power goes negative. The turbine is able to cycle on and off throughout the day for hundreds of times, if necessary, without any wear on the ASC controller.

SMSS
The simplified motor starter can be used to reduce the starting torque of small to moderate (up to 30Hp at 480 VAC) 3-phase motors. The typical uses would be for starting air conditioning blower motors, and refrigeration compressor motors where belt drives are used. In these applications, belt slip is dramatically reduced.

FRS-300
The FRS-300 offers a reliable, low-cost alternative to other methods for charging the DC bus in various applications. The FRS300 combines the convenience of having the firing, regulator and snubber circuit all on one board.
Other applications for this board would be in 3-phase battery chargers, welding equipment and other DC bridges where power quality is not an issue.
