The FCOP 1200 twelve-pulse firing package is made up of the DDOG1200 Gate Delay Determinator board mounted on top of the FCOA 1200 Auxiliary firing board. This combination is able to handle mains voltages up to 900 VAC.

FCOG 1200
Twelve-Pulse Firing Board

The FCOG 1200 firing board supplies delayed, hard-firing gating pulses for parallel or series connected 12-pulse converters or AC controllers. The 12-gate outputs are spaced at 30° intervals required to eliminate the 5th and 7th harmonics of the AC input current.

FCOVF 6100
Variable Frequency Firing Board

The FCOVF-6100 board is the variable frequency/variable voltage version of the industry standard FCOG 6100 board. This board is capable of utilizing input mains variable frequency and variable voltages coming from large alternators, converting the AC voltage to DC for field excitation and battery charging.
Typical uses would be in diesel/electric vehicle applications such as rail locomotives and ore trucks.

FCOG 6100
Three-Phase Firing Board

Introduced in 1983, this industry-standard firing board is ideal for large industrial power supplies, motor controllers and generator controllers. Reduced component count and improved reliability is achieved by utilizing an industry-standard digital LSI-based design. The firing circuit's phase-locked loop digital gate delay circuit forms a set of phase-balanced, 60°-spaced, high current thyristor gate pulses in response to a voltage or milliampere control input.
