Delay Determinator Boards
Delay determinator boards are used in conjunction with MVTB trigger boards when medium voltage applications require phase angle or zero-cross SCR control. Enerpro DDFO delay determinator boards use the same trusted Enerpro FCRO2100, FCRO4100, FCOG6100 and FCOG1200 firing board designs to send SCR firing signals through fiber optic links to the MVTB trigger board. A typical MV application consists of one delay determinator board and one or multiple MVTB boards, depending on the application and the number of SCRs in the system.
Two versions of fiber optic transmitters are available: the standard St-type bayonet and the Versa-link connector. The firing signal is transmitted from the DDFO board to any MVTB product using the standard duplex multimode, OM1, 62.5/125 fiber, which is immune to electrical interference.
DDFO2100 Single Phase Board
The DDFO2100 is a standard FCRO2100 firing board with the RC pulse shaping circuits eliminated and pulse modules replaced with fiber optic transmitters.
All features and electrical characteristics of the DDFO2100 are the same as the standard FCRO2100 with the exception of maximum voltage rating. Electrical isolation from the MVTB trigger board is provided by the fiber optic link, increasing maximum SCR line voltages up to 7.2kVac.
DDFO4100 Single Phase Board
The DDFO4100 is a standard FCRO4100 firing board with the RC pulse shaping circuits eliminated and pulse modules replaced with fiber optic transmitters.
All features and electrical characteristics of the DDFO4100 are the same as the standard FCRO4100 with the exception of maximum voltage rating. Electrical isolation from the MVTB trigger board is provided by the fiber optic link, increasing maximum SCR line voltages up to 7.2kVac.
DDFO6100 Three Phase Board
The DDFO6100 is a standard FCOG6100 firing board with the RC pulse shaping circuits eliminated and pulse modules replaced with fiber optic transmitters.
All features and electrical characteristics of the DDFO6100 are the same as the standard FCOG6100 with the exception of maximum voltage rating. Electrical isolation from the MVTB trigger board is provided by the fiber optic link, increasing maximum SCR line voltages up to 7.2kVac.
DDFO1200 Six Phase Board
The DDFO1200 is a standard FCOG1200 firing board with the RC pulse shaping circuits eliminated and pulse modules replaced with fiber optic transmitters. It can drive any MVTB (Medium Voltage Triggering Boards) arrangement based on a desired SCR topology for six-phase applications.
All features and electrical characteristics of the DDFO1200 are the same as the standard FCOG1200 with the exception of maximum voltage rating. Electrical isolation from the MVTB trigger board is provided by the fiber optic link, increasing maximum SCR line voltages up to 7.2kVac.
