PCA Series Power Control Assembly
PCA style assemblies are used in single and three phase applications up to 800 amps RMS. One, two, or three dual SCR modules are mounted on a single low profile heatsink.
The SCR firing board, regulation board, and snubber board are also mounted directly to the heatsink with standoffs. The standard heatsink widths are 7.25” or 10” and custom heatsink profiles are available. The flexibility of heatsink options allows optimum overall system packaging. Cooling can be by natural convection, forced air, or integral fans depending on the ambient air conditions and heat dissipation requirements.
